US PAUSES VISA ISSUANCE TO 75 COUNTRIES INCLUDING CAMBODIA
Isaford Immigration wishes to provide an urgent update to all our clients applying for immigrant visas to the United States.
On 14 January 2026, the US State Department announced that it was pausing the issuance of visas to citizens of 75 countries including Cambodia from 21 January 2026.
This means that the US will pause issuing all immigrant visas for Cambodian nationals.
This halt is targeted at countries whose citizens who most often or who are considered most likely to be a public charge or those most likely to ‘consume US welfare or pubic benefits’.

USCIS INCREASES I-140 FEES
On 1 March 2026, USCIS implemented an increase in fees for I-140 Premium Processing fees for multiple visa types including EW3 (EB-3 Other Workers category). USCIS reviews fees every two years for inflation.
The previous fee for I-140 Premium Processing is USD 2,805.
The new fee which started on 1 March 2026 is now USD 2,965. This means the fee has increased by USD 160.
This means the total I-140 fee with Premium Processing from 1 March 2026 will be:
USD 715 (I-140 Standard Fee) + USD 600 (Asylum Fee) = USD 1,315 + USD 2,965 (Premium Processing) = USD 4, 280

MARCH 2026 EB-3 DOL FLAG UPDATE
Isaford Immigration is pleased to provide you an update on the US Department of Labor PERM Priority Date.
The US Department of Labor PERM Priority Date has been updated on the FLAG system for the period up to 05 March 2026.
The US Department of Labor PERM Priority Date is now October 2024 & has moved forward 1 month since our last update in February 2026. This means the DOL FLAG Priority Date has moved forward by 3 months since January 2026.

US VISA BULLETIN MARCH 2026
The March 2026 Visa Bulletin has been released by USCIS and shows:
- EB-3 Other Workers: 01 November 2021. Moved forward 2 month from February 2026 Visa Bulletin.
- EB-2 National Interest Waiver: 15 October 2024. Moved forward 6 month from February 2026 Visa Bulletin.
- EB-5 Investor Visa: Current (no waiting list). Remains Current since December 2025 Visa Bulletin.

ALBERTA FGES PROGRAM: FAST TRACK RESIDENCY IN CANADA
Isaford Immigration is now offering a new pathway to Permanent Residency in Alberta Province, Canada.
Alberta has created a new Alberta Foreign Graduate Entrepreneur Stream Permanent Resident program intended to attract professionals, business owners and entrepreneurs to launch a business in Alberta. The businesses do not need to be innovative, and the owners can be passive or active in running the business.
There are no team applications (only 1 applicant per business) for the program, but an applicant can share ownership of the business with a Canadian or foreign national.

Portugal continues to be among the most stable and popular Residency by Investment programs in the European Union and worldwide.

Portugal’s Golden Visa program offers individuals, families and their parents the opportunity to gain permanent residency in just 5 years.
